Hon. Babatunji Wusu Ejalonibu, the founder of Ejalonibu Foundation, has supported over 50 students in Badagry with UTME forms and admonished them to work towards placing Badagry in its rightful position.

While addressing beneficiaries of the free forms during the presentation program on Saturday, he said education is the best tool to reposition and take Badagry to greater heights.

"Badagry is the cradle of civilization, with the very first primary school in Nigeria, situated in the ancient and historical town. Yet the town has not attained its rightful place in the nation," he said.

Ejalonibu pointed out that, "there are many people out there wishing to go to the university but lack funding and necessary support. Here you are, we are willing to support you in our own little way. The only way you can show appreciation is to study well, break UTME record, and make Badagry and Lagos State proud."

So that later in the future, the students will be able to also support others and contribute to the development of the community.

"Taking Badagry to the next level through education is one of the aims of the foundation. And the feedback from previous program has continued to motivate the foundation to do more."

Mrs Oluwapelumi Popoola, a carer builder, talked to the students on: Navigating Through University Life.

"You have to identify your purpose, maintain a healthy lifestyle, embrace a supportive network, build relationships and connections, prioritise class attendance, manage finances, and embrace vocational skills."

"The foundation is providing scholarships for medical students, sponsors for students studying education related courses, and any student that scores 300 or higher in the UTME," Ejalonibu added.
