An old video of Bella Shmurda explaining the late MohBad's mental health difficulties has been uncovered.
In a January interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Shmurda revealed that Mohbad was suicidal.
According to Shmurda, the late singer suffered from depression following the termination of his contract with Marlian Music, which is owned by popular performer Naira Marley.
"I don't want to say it, but I will," Shmurda replied. Mohbad and I were in a flat when he abruptly stated that he felt like jumping from the floor we were on, downstairs, due to troubles with his label.
"It was his girlfriend who came to tell us he was at the edge of his window, about to jump to his death."
"Anything that causes someone to attempt suicide is extreme, and when it happens, these people will join the many who tweet RIP."
On Tuesday evening, Mohbad's death was reported.
