Rotarian Uche Okafor, the immediate past president, said, "We did tree planting to encourage and promote the environment and school projects that involved the distribution of books, bags, and uniforms. We were able to deliver the 10-room building for the National Youth Service Corps members of Agbara, which was our star project, and to the glory of God, we finished it in our Rotary year, which is Legacy enough."
Rotarian Okafor noted that he will continue to fulfil his obligation as a Rotarian as a member of Rotary Club Agbara by continuously putting his time, talent, treasure, and thought into the propagation of more of the projects and ideals of Rotary in the immediate community and environment.
The president of Rotary Club Agbara is elected after a careful look at how Rotarians have carried out their activities. Two more people are then nominated to go to the polls, where the president is elected.
"The president should be focused and always ride on the privilege of the club members because they are the catchment area as they bring about the primary funds to carry out our projects. I know the current president is a bridge builder and will ride on the already established achievements," he added.
