"We understand that most of the people that are being trafficked or smuggled out of Nigeria for child labour, slavery, sex workers, and organ harvesting are mostly young children who are very innocent, which is why we are here to talk to them," he said.

Dr. Ugwumba Akudo Ogechi, a lecturer at the French Language Village, and the Summer Camp Commandant said, "This is a very welcome development because we cross the border almost every weekend for excursions, so we need to be educated in many ways, so it's a good idea the Immigration Service officers are here.
"I can say the students have learned something." The group of students are secondary school students who are on a one week international summer camp.
"I've been travelling, and Nigeria Immigration has been trying their services, which are commendable," She said.
Isaac Onda Elijah, Deputy Superintendent of Immigration, who addressed the students on regular migration, said, "We are here to encourage regular migration because over the years these are the challenges Immigration is facing when people "Japa" through unrecognised routes, some even have their travelling documents, but the purpose of their travelling is not genuine, so we're trying to preach the gospel of regular migration so that people will be enlightened and know what to do when they want to travel.
Regular Migration means travelling with proper documents through the right route and having sufficient money, and the purpose of the movement must be genuine. Right now, there is an increase in organ harvesting, human trafficking, and most of these people have their own tactics.
He said Nigerians who want to travel can visit the official website to get information for free.
"The level of irregular migration is higher than regular migration because people move in droves through various routes, but the regular people are not as many. This is based on several factors, such as deceptions and other factors."
Isaac, in his address to the students, said regular migration simply means travelling from one place to another with valid travel documents, which include an international passport, visa, and vaccination cards.
ASI Jacob Adeosun, who spoke on Irregular migration, said, "If you travel without the required documents, even with an expired international passport, you are still an Irregular migrant."
He said Immigration has improved with the introduction of the Migration Information Data Analysis System (MIDAS), which has helped improve border security "We are trying to block all these illegal routes, and we make sure all other things fall into place."
Prof. Latif Badatunde Ayeleru FNAL, the Director of Nigeria French Language Village, in his address to the Nigeria Immigration Service officers, said the school takes the students in groups to Benin Republic every Saturday, which makes it important for them to know more about migration.
"We appreciate your coming, and you will still have to visit our tertiary students because I think they need this more. I am happy and looking forward to more collaboration between French Village and the Nigeria Immigration Service," he added.
