SC Voki John Oghoghome the new Badagry Divisional Officer of the Corps, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has promised to uphold the statutory mandate to improve security in Badagry, Lagos State Nigeria.


SC John Oghoghome, disclosed this on Wednesday when the Badagry Local Government Chairman Hon. Onilude Segun Adeniran received him in his office.


In an information made available to the media by Badagry LGA information department, SC Oghoghome said he is aware of the synergy between the Corps, the local government, and other security agencies in the local government. He assured the Council boss that he and his men would uphold their statutory mandate of providing top-notch security for lives and property, as well as protecting critical government assets at all levels of local government. 


Onilude, praised the men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for their professionalism and collaboration with the government. 


While welcoming SC John Oghoghome, Onilude expressed confidence in the NSCDC divisional officer, stating that he will not only discharge his responsibilities effectively but will also consolidate the council's and corps' existing harmonious working relationship. 


The Council Chairman and Corps Divisional Officer also discussed ways to strengthen the local government's existing security presence, collaborate with other security agencies, and create collaborative enlightening forums between the corps and the host community.


The SLG, Hon. Moses Gbetogo Opa, Council Manager, Mr Asokere Sejuro, Council Treasurer, Mr Hunponu Olugbenga, Council Engineer, Mr Jelili Yusuf, and Chief-of-Staff to the Chairman, Mr Sewedo Olalekan Samuel were also present to welcome the Divisional officer.
