Trinity Guy and CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi |
CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the public relations officer for the Nigerian Police Force, called for the arrest of Trinity Guy, a well-known Nigerian comedian and practical prankster, for one of his most recent pranks that was allegedly extremely terrifying.
Following his initial warning against the frightful and unchecked pranks perpetrated by many skit makers, Adejobi, who posted the prank video on his Instagram page on Monday, ordered the arrest of the skit maker.
According to SaharaReporters, the Force spokesperson on Thursday issued a warning to pranksters that they should be prepared to deal with the fallout from some of their pranks and that they will be held legally accountable for any harm they may have caused.
According to Adejobi, pranksters' actions cause the police more difficulties in managing security than they personally gain from their antics.
He claims that if by chance the force operating across the country shoot any prankster seen with a gun, whether it be a dummy or a real one, they shouldn't be held responsible for killing an innocent person because they might be mistaken for an armed robber or criminal before confirming the type of gun they are carrying.
Adejobi urged people who experience the sting and fear of the pranks to report the perpetrators to police authorities by posting the Trinity Guy prank video on Monday.
He said, "This doesn't make any sense. I think the guy should have been arrested. Those individuals who feel the heat and fear of the pranks should be reporting the pranksters as many of their pranks are criminals, immoral, and evil. These women have a good case against him."
