Hoodlums celebrating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) victory in Zamfara have vandalised the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) building and other state property.
This was stated by Alhaji Muhammad Jazuli, NBTI member in charge of North West, after inspecting the level of damage at the centre in Gusau on Wednesday.
"You are aware that the Federal Government established the centre in 1999, and that all government investment in this centre over the last 23 years totaling over N1 billion has been vandalised by hoodlums."

“This is very unfortunate, this is something very terrible because not only government property was involved, even private property belonging to entrepreneurs that came to invest here were destroyed.
“Most of our entrepreneurs or investors secured loans from banks to procure the equipment.
“Even doors and windows of this office were removed, all our furniture and everything here was taken away,” Mr Jazuli said.
He added: “As you can see, we don’t have even a single chair in this center, I cannot understand this madness.”
Despite the importance of the centre to the people of the state, Mr Jazuli expressed dismay at the extent of the damage.
He also urged state security agencies to investigate the heinous crime, as well as the state and federal governments to intervene and restore the center's capacity and functionality.
