Ms Grace Bent, who represented Adamawa South in the National Assembly, made the announcement in Yola on Saturday.
Former Senator Grace Bent has urged former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice President Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, to accept their defeat in the February 25 presidential election in good faith.
"Going to court will result in a futile exercise with no positive impact on the judiciary or democratic systems," Ms Bent said.
"I believe in the duo style of leadership; the ticket will unite us more than the selfish thinking of many who look at it from a religious standpoint," she added.
Ms Bent, who represented Adamawa South in the National Assembly, made the announcement in Yola on Saturday.
She congratulated Bola Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima on their well-deserved victory.
"Engaging in a legal tussle on the widely adjudged most credible election will amount to only unnecessary distraction to hold down the process of leadership to thrive.
"The presidential election results were a true reflection of Nigerians' honest votes; you don't need to waste your time and resources.
"I wish them a good tenure in office; I know Nigerians will smile again," Ms Bent added.
