The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kaduna Command said it arrested 100 suspects and seized 4,891.715kg of illicit drugs in the state.
Braji Alhaji, the state commander, told journalists on Saturday in Kaduna that the arrest and seizure took place in January.
Mr Alhaji stated that the 100 suspects apprehended included 92 men and eight women.
The commander stated that the drugs seized were 3,888.426kg of Indian hemp, 0.006kg of heroin, 0.053kg of cocaine, 0.0012kg of methamphetamine, 4.482kg of tramadol, and 998.736kg of psychotropic.
Mr Alhaji stated that the command would step up its efforts to combat illegal drugs and their consumption in the state.
He urged residents to always provide useful and timely information to the agency so that it could take immediate action.
He also urged parents and guardians to keep an eye on their children.
