Rotaract Club LASU install Kuti as the 10th President

Rotaract club member and Rotaractor  Kuti Ibrahim Oluwagbenga the president Rotaract club LASU.


The Rotaract club of Lagos State University Ojo, LASU. Has installed  Rotaractor Kuti Ibrahim Oluwagbenga as the 10th president on Saturday.


Rotaract club is the youth wing of Rotary Club an International humanitarian organization, rendering community services around the world, with the responsibility of total eradication of Polio.


At the installation held at the Hallowed chamber, student arcade, LASU Ojo campus. Rotaractor Kuti Ibrahim Oluwagbenga, a student of the Department of business administration, the imaginative and the 10th president of Rotaract Club LASU, said since his tenure commenced he has done projects that have called attention across the zone.

"Since the inception of this tenure, we have been able to accomplish lot of things and executed projects that are reputable in the zone/ district.


"And of course now that we have done the official installation, there is still much to do and I believe people have hope in me and my board members and we are going to make sure these hopes come true and through projects which will soon be executed as time goes on before the end of the rotary year."


Rotaractor Kuti further said, "my message to all LASU students and rotaractors is that we should all be diligent in whatever we do. The thing is once we are committed to whatever we do, it will come out large when it becomes a result and whatever we do let’s put our minds and expect that God helps us when we put our best.


"Well, I didn’t put it in mind that I’d become the president but thanks be to God, here I am as a president and one of the most performing president in both the district and zone and of course as the president of this Rotaract club," he added.


Salami Abdullahi Opeyemi of Rotaract Club Maryland who represented Rabiu Misturah Damilola the outgoing president of Rotary Club LASU, said "So far the journey hasn’t been easy, very rough especially having to gather people who are your mates together and organizing programs."


He said, he knows how challenging it would be, as the Rotary club is not a profit organization. Rotaractor Kuti should be ready to spend his money and as well his time.


Adding that, he(Kuti) should take the members of the team as a family and work with them in unity and cooperation, And for the rotaractors, they should all see Kuti as a brother and not just a president.


Rotarian  Wahab, public image director Rotary club of Agbara Said, "Rotary Club is a non-profit organization. The foremost humanitarian service organization in the world and the club has touched so many lives, countless of lives so it is a place everybody should be.


Wahab giving the reason that there is so much to do for humanity, he urged everybody to be Rotary member.


"The more we are, the easier it is to touch more lives," Wahab said.


"I wish Kuti the best, it is not easy leading people, there are going to be disagreements but I trust him to manage everybody well to achieve the best at the end of the year.  And  for Rotaractors let’s keep doing what we know to do best, that is, touching lives and giving back to the society and the sky is the starting point for us," He added.
