The banks in Lagos State University Ojo. Zenith bank, Access bank, UBA, Wema bank, and Starling Bank have refused to dispense Cash at all, claiming no Cash against the statement of the CBN governor Godwin Emefiele.
Several customers are now stranded because they don't have any money to even buy food or transport themselves.
A LASU staff who spoke with The News Peddlers said he has not been able to get cash since yesterday and he needs to buy food in the house.
A student also said it has been very hard for me to survive because I don't have money to sustain myself, coupled with the fact that we are starting examsnext week. It has been difficult for me to read too.
