Alh. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the founder of RAK Foundation and a former House of Representatives aspirant from Badagry Federal Constituency, has donated 1.5 million to Povita Central Mosque for their roofing project.
It was reported that during the Turbaning Ceremony of Alfa. Taofeeq M. Yusuf, as the Chief Imam of the Mosque last weekend, Ogunlende donated the huge sum of 1.2m, while his friend who came in company supports his donation with the sum of 300,000
According to Ogunlende, who is also the Alatileyin Adini of Badagry Division, it is always good to partake in Almighty Allah's things because there is a great reward attached to it.
The new Chief Imam, Wamontaofeeq, expressed his gratitude to God and the donor, saying that this is the beginning of a new era in Povita Mosque.
The Chief Imam of Badagry Division and other top Muslim clerics were present at the Turbaning Ceremony as other Muslim faithful were also turbaned.
