The Gaza Strip's ruling Hamas movement claims to have executed five Palestinians, including two for "collaboration" with Israel.
The executions on Sunday were the first in the coastal enclave in over five years.
"On Sunday morning, two people sentenced to death for collaboration with the occupation [Israel] and three others in criminal cases were executed," Hamas said in a statement.
The defendants had previously been given "their full rights to defend themselves," according to the statement.
The initials and birth years of the five executed Palestinians were provided by Hamas' interior ministry, but not their full names.
According to the report, the two men executed for collaboration with Israel were born in 1978 and 1968, respectively.
The older of the two was from Khan Yunis, which is located in the south of the blockaded Gaza Strip. He was convicted of providing Israel with "information on men of the resistance, their residence... and the location of rocket launchpads" in 1991, according to Hamas.
The second was condemned for providing Israel with intelligence in 2001 that "led to the targeting and martyrdom of citizens" by Israeli forces, according to the statement.
According to the report, the three other people executed had all been convicted of murder.
