What Party Will We Vote For in 2023? Naira Marley Inquires
Naira Marley, a singer, said on Wednesday that he wants to donate one billion Naira to the 2023 election, but first wants to know which party his fans support.
"I want to donate 1 billion Naira for 2023 election but what party are we voting for?" the singer asked on his official tweeter handle.
Some of his followers have responded to his tweets. "Oga, your net worth no reach like that gan," Big Shaq said.
"Naira Marley, you don't have a billion, you are not that wealthy, & it's advisable u tread carefully since u are still being watched by the EFCC; Having said that, the 2023 elections isn't a joke, Nigerians are literally fighting for their lives right now so don't chase clout with it," tweeted popular Twitter critic Daniel Regha.
"I am sure you have people around you who really need that money," another tweep, Jojo, said. You can give it to them, and perhaps they will be grateful and advise them to vote for competence and a functioning Nigeria," he added.
