Kareem Moshood, 42 years old man, was allegedly knocked down while crossing the expressway at Agogo Igbala bus stop on the Lagos-Badagry expressway in Olorunda LCDA, Badagry, on Monday.
Mr. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police spokesperson, stated that the victim died on the spot.
Mr Hundeyin said that a team of traffic police officers visited the scene and photographed the spot, while the corpse was removed and deposited at a public mortuary for an autopsy.
He stated that the driver of the Toyota Highlander SUV with the registration number KRD 711 FX, Abiodun Rasheed, had been detained and that an investigation was underway.
