Barr. Medemaku Abayomi who recently withdrew from 2023 House
of Representatives race of PDP, lamented seriously about how disappointed he is
in the nonchalant act of the management in charge of the new shops that was just
constructed in Badagry Local Government Area, Lagos state.
He made it clear that If this persist, he might be forced to
take action against the Developer and LGA for handing over such project to an
highly incompetent Developer or Company.
Medemaku said on his Facebook page “Brothers in Diaspora or
anywhere, please if you don't want your Intergrity to be at stake, please do
not bring anyone to buy any of those shops being constructed in Badagry”!
He referred to the contractor in charge as “highly
incompetent” individuals
“You won't believe I brought a German Client and his spouse
to buy 3 of those shops at roundabout since February of 2021, wherein we paid
in full, but till date not even 1 of those shops is fully ready or has been
handed over to us”.
Meanwhile it’s just few things “like toilet and ceiling” that’s
left, still they couldn't complete it in 1 full year!
“I have been in constant touch with the Developer and the
excuses being given for the non completion is very ridiculous”. He said.
Despite the full payment for over a year now nothing is coming
fought. “The German thought something fishy was happening and he began to lose
trust, he had to travel to Badagry from Germany early last month to confirm the
state of things. Even though he felt really disappointed, I had to just calm in
down”. He added.
“Please if this is how we will continue handling projects in
Badagry, then there is problem”.
