Ojelowo Alli Abiodun, the manager of Bruedent F.C, has successfully organised the first football tournament in Gande community in Sokoto state, which was meant for youth empowerment, encourage local football, and develop young football talents.
The tournament ended with Honourable Atiku Lima F.C. winning the trophy.
It started on the 19th of November and ended yesterday the 30th of November .
Abiodun owns a football club in Lagos where he has organised various tournaments and his club had won various trophies.
He has also devoted his time to developing young talent in football, where some of his players had made it to International football seen.
This prompted him to go out of his region to Sokoto state where he had successfully organised the first ever football tournament in Gande community.
Abiodun told Newspeddlers that, the teams had performed so well, but i wish they improve.
On the player’s performance he said, The tournament is encouraging,
“I discovered that the northern region really loves sport, but the challenge is that they lack organizer. No one to put them through, in achieving their dreams”.
“My advice to the northern youths with passion for sport is that they shouldn’t relent. They should be focused, make sure they move to other regions on the nation, where sport is thriving, I other to achieve their dreams”. Abiodun said.
“It’s the first tournament that is organised in the community. It won’t be possible if I had not organised it. And it was because of my experience from the previous tournaments I have organised in Lagos where I come from, Where I’ll be organising another tournament this month, with the Theme: Kennedy Henshaw under 17 tournament”.
He appreciated everyone that made the tournament possible.
