The Boko Haram terrorists group have successfully captured not
less than 500 communities in Niger state, in northern Nigeria.
This was made know to news men by Hon. Sulaiman Chukuba the Chairman of Shiroro Local Government on October 1st. When
the independence of the nation, from Britain in 1960 is being celebrated around
the country.
Naming areas under the control of the terror group to be, Kushaka, Kwati, Chukuba, Manta, Bassa-kokki, Garmna, Allawa, Galadima kogo and Kurebe.

Mr. Chukuba said, the group have been making moves to conscript
residents of these communities to become member of the terror group.
Expressing his displeasure about the situation he further
said, the terrorists are also trying to equip the people with weapons in other to
fight against the government.
He said, “They incorporate the people of those communities by
telling them, they have arms and money for them so they can join in the fight against
the government”.
As reported by Channels, he said that Boko Haram have declared
that they don’t want western education that they prefer Islamic school.
“Shiroro Local Government has unknown number of Boko Haram fighters”.
He said.
Explaining further that “I have the proof being that I’m the
Executive Chairman, and Chief Security Officer of the Local Government. When they
entered various communities they tell them, they don’t want primary and secondary
schools. They only want Islamiya schools”.
The Chairman sending his heartfelt request to the Federal Government,
pleaded for more security personnel deployed to the area, to dislodge the terror
group that have turned his Local Government to their home.
This buttressed the claim of the state governor some months ago
that, Boko Haram have hosted their flag In Kaure village, which is under Shiroro
Local Government.
