JAMB 2021: 4 things to know as JAMB commence registration.

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB, in a statement said that the registration for year 2021 UTME will take place in qualified centres across the national .

Here are the major things you need to know to complete your registration.

1. Registration Date And Centres: JAMB also announced the 2021 UTME registration date, stating that the portal will be open on 8th of April and closed on 15th of May 2021. It should be noted that there would not be an extension for the sales of form for this year’s UTME.

The board has approved 700 centres for the exercise, which are available on the JAMB portal.

2. Registration Fee:  In the statement, JAMB said that “The registration fee for the 2021 application documents is N3,500 and N500 for the recommended Reading Text.”

3. NIN Is Mandatory: According to the examination board, candidates interested in registering for the 2021 UTME must supply their National Identity Number (NIN) to complete the process.

4: Optional Mock And UTME Exam Dates: While the mock examination – optional for candidates – will take place from Thursday, 8th April to Saturday, 15th May 2021, the 2021 UTME is billed to hold from ​Saturday, 5th to Saturday, 19th June, 2021.

It was further said that “the venue of the examination will be at any of the centres in the candidate’s chosen examination town,”.

“Information regarding other registration processes and requirements would be made available on the official website and other media platforms, from 5th April 2021,”it added.
