LAGOS, NIGERIA – As the political landscape begins to shift ahead of the 2027 general elections, the PBAT-KOH Door-to-Door Movement has officially launched an intensive grassroots campaign in Lagos State to secure a second term for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The movement, which has received the endorsement of key All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders across Lagos, is built on a mission to bring the administration's policy successes directly to the doorstep of every resident. The Lagos chapter is led by Ogun Babatunde John (Chairman) and Bilikis Balogun (State Women Leader), supported by a robust executive team including Fadipe Ibrahim (Deputy State Coordinator), Isaiah P. (State Organizing Secretary), Emmanuel Hunge (Director of Ethics), and Oluakemi Jolayemi (State Secretary).
The movement’s operational philosophy is centered on direct, personal interaction. Unlike traditional top-down political campaigns, the PBAT-KOH initiative is focused on human-to-human connection.
"This is a platform created to mobilize for Bola Tinubu and Obafemi Hamzat," explained Sunday Aladeotan, the Director for Youth and spokesperson for the movement. "The aim is to reach out to both party members and non-party members. What the group has done before now is go to the grassroots level to mobilize those who have not registered for their PVCs. We have also been able to embark on grassroots door-to-door engagement."
By focusing on voter registration and direct community outreach, the movement seeks to build a durable coalition that reaches beyond the traditional party base.
Adding a historic dimension to this mobilization is the open support of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo. His alignment with the PBAT-KOH movement marked by the recent inauguration of the national structure is being viewed by political analysts as a potential turning point for Niger Delta politics.
Observers, including political commentator Ossai Ovie Success, have noted the significance of Tompolo’s direct involvement. "For the first time in Nigeria’s political history, a major Niger Delta stakeholder, a man with deep grassroots reach, is not just declaring support for a sitting President; he is mobilizing for him, door-to-door," he remarked. This shift suggests that the movement’s influence is rapidly expanding, bridging regional divides and creating a unified national front for the President’s re-election bid.
With the backing of APC stakeholders and the strategic leadership of local coordinators, the PBAT-KOH movement is signaling that the 2027 campaign will be defined by grassroots presence. As the team continues to deploy ward-level coordinators across Lagos and beyond, their goal remains clear: to ensure that every household is informed about the administration’s development agenda and to turn that awareness into electoral support.
As the movement continues its work, the message from Lagos remains consistent: the march toward 2027 is a journey being taken one door at a time.
