BADAGRY, LAGOS — In a strategic move to bolster grassroots political engagement, the Gbenu Youth Movement has officially kicked off an intensive PVC registration awareness and APC party membership campaign across Ward A in the Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The initiative, which marks a significant turning point for local political mobilization, seeks to bridge the gap between the electorate and the democratic process.

The Convener of the group, Aladeotan David, disclosed the details of the campaign to News Peddlers on Thursday. He noted that the drive is a deliberate effort to ensure that residents are not just spectators but active participants in the governance of their communities.

The campaign has already commenced in Irosu and Kweme, with plans to extend the outreach to every community within the Ward A jurisdiction.

This campaign is more than just a registration exercise; it is a strategic maneuver aimed at strengthening political participation at the foundational level.

By focusing on Ward A, the Gbenu Youth Movement is fostering inclusive community development, ensuring that the voices of the local residents are captured in the national political discourse. The movement believes that a robust party membership is the backbone of any progressive local administration.

Reflecting a deep-seated commitment to civic education and voter orientation, the initiative empowers residents with the knowledge needed to navigate the democratic landscape.

The Gbenu Youth Movement continues to demonstrate its dedication to: Promoting political awareness among the youth and elderly. Encouraging responsible citizenship through valid voter registration. Contributing to the long-term growth and stability of the Badagry West LCDA.
