BADAGRY, Nigeria – The Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN), South West Region, has announced it will bestow its prestigious Honorary Fellowship upon the three council chairmen of the historic Badagry Federation.
The triple award ceremony is scheduled for December 6th, 2025, at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja, marking a significant milestone in the area's cultural and developmental narrative.
The announcement was made official on Wednesday by Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, the Vice President of ATPN's South West region.

The distinguished awardees are Hon. Hunpe Babatunde, Chairman of Badagry Local Government; Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Yemaren, Chairman of Badagry West LCDA; and Hon. Ajose Kumayon, Chairman of Olorunda LCDA.
