President Bola Tinubu is set for an early return to Nigeria, cutting short his scheduled vacation to resume his official duties in Abuja.

The announcement was made by the Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement from the nation's capital on Monday.

Originally, President Tinubu departed for France on September 4th for his annual holiday. The initial plan was for the Nigerian leader to split his time between France and the United Kingdom for a period of ten working days. However, the schedule has been revised for an earlier return.

A key highlight of President Tinubu's stay in Paris was a significant diplomatic engagement. He held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the prestigious Élysée Palace. The meeting between the two leaders focused on strengthening Nigeria-France relations, with discussions centered on key areas of bilateral cooperation for shared prosperity and enhancing global stability.

His return to Nigeria on Tuesday is highly anticipated as the nation awaits the resumption of his leadership and the continued implementation of his administration's agenda.
