Prof. Dauda further used the opportunity to commend the peaceful and accommodating nature of the Badagry community, describing it as one of the most peaceful local governments he knows.
"The people are very accommodating and friendly; anyone saying otherwise wouldn't be from the educated class," he added, reinforcing the positive environment conducive to academic excellence. This sentiment set the stage for the chairman's deeply personal and impactful response.

He provided a compelling narrative of his journey, stating, "I started from scratch in the campus up to management level, had all my higher education in LASU, got Lagos State appointment from there, before being elected as Member of House of Representatives and now the local government chairman." This history, he explained, makes his commitment to giving back to the institution that laid his foundation not just a duty, but a personal mission.
Chairman Hunpe gave firm assurances of his support. He outlined a partnership of shared responsibility, urging the school to play its part by prioritizing admissions for qualified students from the Badagry.
"Badagry Local Government will do its part and the school should also do its part," Hunpe stated. This partnership promises to foster greater educational opportunities and community development, strengthening the legacy of LASUSBAS as a cradle for future leaders in Lagos State and beyond.
