ASCON Unveils New Logo, Embarks on Rebranding Journey

By: Manoah kikekon

The Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) has officially unveiled a fresh, modern logo, signaling the beginning of an ambitious rebranding journey aimed at repositioning the institution as a leader in innovative public sector capacity development.

The new identity reflects ASCON’s commitment to adaptability, excellence, and digital transformation in an ever-evolving governance landscape.

The rebranding initiative is spearheaded by ASCON’s newly appointed Director General, Mrs. Funke Adepoju, who has championed a vision of modernization and global competitiveness.

According to Adepoju, the new logo symbolizes ASCON’s transition into a forward-thinking institution that embraces technology, inclusivity, and efficiency in public administration. “This is not just a change in aesthetics; it’s a declaration of our readiness to lead Nigeria’s public sector into the future,” she stated during the unveiling ceremony.

Founded in 1973, ASCON has long been a cornerstone of executive training for Nigeria’s public and private sectors. The institution’s recent partnership with SO-TechAfrica Ltd to deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programs for civil servants underscores its shift toward digital empowerment.

These programs are designed to equip government workers with data analytics, automation, and smart governance tools, ensuring Nigeria’s public service remains competitive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
