Kogi Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has boldly declared that she possesses concrete evidence of sexual harassment by Senator Godswill Akpabio and promises to reveal it at the right moment.
In a recent interview with Channels TV, Akpoti-Uduaghan responded to Akpabio’s claim that she lacked proof, stating, “At the right time and at the right space, I will present the evidence that I have.”
Efforts to reach Aniete Ekong, Akpabio’s spokesperson, for a reaction were unsuccessful, as he did not respond to a WhatsApp message seeking comment.
This latest development follows the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) dismissing a recall petition against Akpoti-Uduaghan on Thursday.
The Kogi Central lawmaker was suspended from the Senate on February 28 after accusing Akpabio of sexual harassment and abuse of power.
The Senate penalized her with a six-month suspension, withheld her salaries, and withdrew her security details, citing misconduct during plenary.
