Mobolaji Ogunlende the Commissioner for youth and social development and female athletes |
Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the commissioner for youth and social development, has said the current administration of the Lagos State government under Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu is taking gender equality to next level.
This was disclosed on Saturday at mentorship and training program for Girls in Football at Onikan Stadium, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Ogunlende, who represented Governor Sanwo-Olu at the event, said he was thrilled to represent Mr. Governor at the 1-Day Mentorship and Training Program for Girls in Football at Onikan Stadium, themed “It’s Time for Girls.
He said that the current administration is not just talking about gender equality but also living it, as a sign of commitment to unlocking potential of female athletes.
"Our Administration is not just talking about gender equality-we're living it! This program also signifies our commitment to unlocking the potential of our young female athletes, fostering their passion, and inspiring a new wave of girls to take the field with confidence and determination.
"Together, we are driving positive narrative and creating a greater future for all!", he added.
