Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the commissioner for youth and social development, has visited Badagry youth centres as he continues his tour to the 17th out of 35 youth centres within Lagos state.
Ogunlende, who on Thursday visited the Ajara Vetho Youth Centre and the Badagry Youth Centre, both located in Badagry Local Government.
He said the visit was not only to see the condition of the facility but also to make sure the youths know the importance of the youth population in a society.
Ogunlende said on his official X handle that "In addition to evaluating the facilities, we engaged various youth stakeholders to understand the dynamics at play and the needs of the youth population.
"With 17 out of 35 youth centres inspected so far, our mission becomes clearer with each visit. We are committed to taking a proactive approach to uplift and empower the youth population of Lagos, driving towards a prosperous society," he added.
