Denmark has announced visas for a new list of professional skilled workers as part of its efforts to address the country's labour shortage in various sectors.
The Danish government announced entry for welders, bricklayers, mechanics, teachers, and other professional workers to help the country with its growing labour shortage.
In an effort to assist the country with its ongoing labour shortage, the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) revealed that 72 highly educated and 38 highly skilled individuals would be required to fill various positions within the country.
Aside from skilled workers, the Danish government identified other occupations such as scientists, engineers, medical doctors, nurses, educationist, economists, IT experts, architects, chemists, accountants, and so on.
There are also insurance agents, sales consultants, sales and account managers, customs officers, real estate agents, property managers, and medical secretaries on the list.
Other jobs in Denmark include landscape gardener, precision mechanic, electrician, and cabinetmaker.
To attract talent, the country has relaxed immigration rules and lowered the minimum salary requirement by expanding the work permit fast-track scheme.
