President Bola Tinubu affirmed to Nigerians on Friday that his administration would leave no stone unturned in its efforts to revive the economy and make it function for the benefit of all Nigerians.
The President made the remarks during a meeting in Abuja with the board of trustees of the All Progressives Congress (APC) professionals forum, which is headed by former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda.
"This economy must recover for the benefit of the greatest number of Nigerians, and we are deeply committed to seeing a positive change through," he stated.
Mr Tinubu stated that every effort across sectors would be documented and frequently assessed for performance verification and public presentation in order to steadily ensure growth and improved public understanding of policy achievements.
"So far, we have taken some baby steps and pushed some aggressive positions," stated the President.
Professionals from the APC additionally pledged their support for his policies.
While appreciating Mr Tinubu for his brave economic interventions, Mr Yuguda stated that more than two million persons had been registered as professionals in various disciplines since 2018 and that institutions for mobilisation and sensitization of Nigerians on government policies were ready.
"Foreign capital is a coward that does not move into unsafe areas, so with your successful interventions so far, we look forward to better security that will attract investors,” Mr Yuguda said.
