NYCN Badagry Attends 2022 Congress and Leadership Symposium

The National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Badagry Local Branch attended the 2022 Congress and Leadership Symposium for Stakeholders, which was organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria Lagos Chapter, led by Comr. Biliamin Olamilekan-Oba.


The congress was held in Epe, from Thursday 8th to 10th Dec. 2022. Comprising several stakeholders of the organization and youth groups.


The event's theme was DEMOCRACY and DIVERSITY: Indispensable Tools for Building for All; Youths Perspective, and it aimed to develop future leaders.



The Congress received reports from the Local Branch Coordinators and Various Youth organizations, registered with the Youth Council throughout the state.


Gboweh Gabriel the NYCN coordinator Badagry central told News Peddlers "The Congress commenced, allowing stakeholders to air their views. It was recalled that some issues raised at the previous congress held at ASCON were inconclusive."


Gboweh said, "It was an incredible event attended by dignitaries and youth leaders from all over the world."


Gbowe appreciates, Hon. Adeniran Olusegun Onilude, the Local Government chairman Badagry central. Who sponsored him and two of his executives to the state Congress.


"Meanwhile Comr. Aladeoton David aka water the coordinator NYCN Badagry West LCDA, moved a motion to step down the congress while we put it ahead as a stakeholders meeting.


"The league of coordinators also supported the motion, while the Congress was annulled to a stakeholders meeting and with that, lots of contributions came from the stakeholders at the meeting.


"A motion of some individuals who perpetrated evil act with the NYCN's plate number was moved, while that motion was moved and several inputs were made from different local branch coordinated that the new administration should look into that motion."


While lots of contributions were made by stakeholders and "the new administration promise to look into this evil act of people impersonating the executive member of the National Youth Council of Nigeria," He added.
