The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Badagry chapter applauded the local government chairman Hon. Olusegun Onilude for carrying the youths along in his administration.
This was disclosed by Comrade Gboweh Sedowhe Gabriel the NYCN coordinator at the 35th Edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture dubbed "Eko NAFEST 2022, held at Mobolaji Johnson Arena Lagos on Wednesday.

The main event comprises the display of cultural activities of various states of the nation and notable Local governments of the state, where Badagry displayed Zangbato. Eyo, Egugun, and Igunuko were also displayed by respective local governments.
This year's festival was hosted by Lagos state where the state governor Babajide Sawo-Olu was present, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi Adeyeye The Oni of Ife, and several other stakeholders in art and culture.

Gabriel told News Peddlers that "today Badagry NYCN is fully represented by our past and present executives and also our very person Hon. Bonu Solomon former adviser to the governor on tourism.
"I see this as an avenue to showcase our ability, culture, and who we are as a people as far as our local government is concerned. It is a national representation where Badagry Local Government has not been left out."
"The people were so happy seeing Zangbeto displayed, since Badagry has been known for her culture, it shows how significant our culture is. This is very encouraging," He added.
He applauded The chairman for allowing NYCN to represent the interest of Badagry youths through the office of supervisor for tourism Hon. Hunsu Oluwasegun at the festival and also involving the youths in his administration.
