Hon. Dominic Dansu, the APC Party Chairman was shot today by unknown gunmen who Invaded All Progressives Congress APC reconciliation meeting.
The meeting was held at Mosafejo Town Hall in Olorunda LCDA, Badagry Lagos state.
It was gathered that reconciliation meeting was to ensure that all aspirants and aggrieved individuals are appeased to ensure APC's resounding victory in 2023.
The picture of the party chairman was seen circulating social media later today, where his injured face was plastered. Several party leaders, women, and the elderly were also injured in the tragic incident.
Responding to the post on social media a party member with the name F-Kay Political, said Alhaji Nojeem Ojo the former party chairman's phones were collected by the gunmen and the side mirrors of his vehicle was shattered .
"Our former party chairman Alhaji nojeem Ojo from ajido two phones were snatched and his side mirrors of his motor were break down. I met him today when he wanted to go and block his lines." She said.
Until today, Olorunda LCDA was known as a non-violent LCDA on the Badagry Corridor, where political disagreements were settled amicably.
What happened today can be said to have marked the beginning of political violence in the region, which may have set an unfavourable precedent.
