The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has questioned why a south-easterner can't be Nigeria's president.
He said this as the nation prepares to elect political office holders in the 2023 election and intrigues still surround the zone who should produce the nation’s next president.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Eneche said, “What is wrong if it is narrowed down for example to the southeast? A people who have felt marginalised and oppressed for a long time. Who said that an easterner cannot be a president of Nigeria? What did they do? What is the offence? Who said it? Where was the law made from?
“Go to the South-East once. Those who have gone before are also clamouring to go again as if some people are not a people. Such uselessness is also happening in some states.”
